The Lagos State Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo has confirmed the receipt of the post-mortem report on the cause of Whitney Adeniran's death.
Adefisayo, also restated the commitment of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu that "nothing will be spared at ensuring appropriate interrogation of the cause and prosecution of anyone found culpable in Whitney's death.
The Commissioner assured the parents of Whitney. the Chrisland pupil who died during the school sports day that "no effort will be spared to get justice for her.
Adefisayo stated this during the condolence visit to her parents Mr. & Mrs. Adeniran at her residence in Lagos.
During the condolence visit, she assured the parents that the Ministry of Education shares in their grief and will be with the family in the jorney for justince.
The Commissioner was accompanied by: Mr Abayomi Abolaji, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education; Mrs. Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, Director-General, Office of Quality Assurance; Mrs. Titiloa Vivour Adeniyi, Executive Secretary, Domestic & Sexual Violence Agency and some directors of the ministry.
