Ministry lists achievements, Outlines plans as school resumes

Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo, the honorable commissioner of education, Lagos State through a press release recently has stated the achievement of the ministry last year while she also outlined the plans for the year 2023.
Adefisayo said that passion of the
amiable governor of Lagos State,
Babajide Sanwo-Olu is inconsumable as over 1,400 projects were delivered in
schools across Lagos.
Specifically, the commissioner said
some of those projects include: Construction of 1,047 new classrooms,
rehabilitation of 197 existing ones, construction of 1,584 provision of school
furniture in both primary and secondary schools, commissioning of a new
ultra-model sport facilities at Elemoro Community Junior Secondary School at
Ibeju- Lekki and commissioning of new technology driven modular school at
Vetland Model Junior Secondary School among others.
She said the Governor has made huge investment in education following the
promise to bequeath a qualitative, inclusive education to empower the next
citizens to compete favourably with her global counterparts.
On a final note, she implored the
students to make harness the opportunities provided by the Sanwo- Olu’s
administration through qualitative education, strive for the best and chalk
more successes in the year 2023 than the previous year.
